Abstract
The aged have changed round from the negative and passive to the affirmative and active. Since they have lost their roles owing to the trend toward unclear family, industralization, and urbanization, their leisure activities and social lives are very important. Futhermore, how to satisfy their need for them is the problem to solve. Though there are many programs liking child welfare center with aged volunteers, there are few practical, systematic, and detailed programs. Therefor, this study aims for developing the professional and systematic programs linking child welfare center with aged volunteers. Current volunteer service programs for old people consist mostly of regular volunteer services. In other words, one of the most problematic difficulties faced while volunteering is the lack of attendable program. Because old people show different physical and mental characteristics than those of other age levels, it is essential to create new programs that take these facts into consideration. Volunteering programs that suits old people¡¯s conditions will encourage them to volunteer and yield greater and participation. Newly developed program that takes these facts into consideration is interdisciplinary program between children and old people. Therefore, Interdisciplinary programs that accommodate current corcumstances should be developed continuously.
